Face Lift Implants

Whether age has slowly robbed you of the beauty that you once possessed or if nature just wasn't kind to you in the first place, you have turned to the marvels of modern science to help you become the person that you have always wanted to be.

This means that you are going to take the plunge and have a face-lift. Many years ago this would have been a radical decision. This just isn't the case anymore. Face-lifts have become so common and routine that people barely bat an eye if you tell them you are going to have some work done.

If the face is your target area chances are you will be offered face implants. This can mean different things for different people so there is no definitive advice as to what you should be looking for, but there is a checklist that you should look at when you start your search for face lift success.

The two most popular face implants are for the cheeks and the chin.

Cheek Implants

When you look in magazines or at all the shinny people on TV you probably notice that the best looking ones tend to very high and pronounced cheekbones. This goes for both men and women. IT would seem that high cheekbones are just universally attractive.

Some people are just born with great cheekbones; others have to starve themselves to add some shadow and definition to their face. Others still, take a third route, cheek implants. And like with most face lift surgery, cheek implants have become fairly routine.

The plastic surgeon will create a small incision and implant an almost unnoticeable strip under your cheeks that will give you just enough definition to create a whole new you.

Chin Implants

Much like high cheekbones a strong, angular and pronounced jaw is just one of those features that seems to be universally pleasing. A strong jaw commands respect and is even synonymous with power and royalty.

If you are unsatisfied with you current chin, you can have an implant, similar to the one used in the cheeks to add definition and tone to your face. Again the procedure tends to be fairly routine these days, but people will notice the difference right away.
