A friend of mine grew up in Pittsburgh but left to go to school out west in California. He was glad to get away from the dreary working class mindset of his hometown. However, when I met up with him the other day in Station Square he couldn't believe his eyes. Although he had only been gone ten years he noticed a big difference in the people of Pittsburgh.

No longer was there that outdated Steel town mentality, but instead the city was cosmopolitan and sophisticated. As we stood there we noticed beautiful person after beautiful person walk by. "This is just like California!" he said. Well, this is no coincidence. California got its reputation for looking good partly because of the abundance and acceptance of plastic surgery in the area.

It didn't take long for this ethos of perfection to work its way back east and now the people of Pittsburgh have caught on. Plastic Surgeons all over the city are performing breast implants, liposuction and breast augmentation at a rate just as high as LA.
