Answer: Molly, the best way to get yourself ready for your surgery is to relax and make sure you are emotionally ready for the change. Instead of worrying about the procedure think about all the things you will do once you have healed (like buy a new wardrobe). Positive thinking is the best way to prepare for all of life's big events. Good luck!

Answer: In answer to your question about preparation I think the first step is to make sure you know everything there is to know about the procedure you are going to have. I had breast reduction a few months ago and I didn't feel completely prepared until I actually sat down with my doctor and had him explain all the ins and outs of breast reduction.

Answer: Hello Molly! Before my surgery I made sure that I ate healthily and exercised. My doctor told me that this was the best way to ensure that I healed quickly after surgery. Also, make sure you take time off work. You'll probably be thrilled with your change, but the first few days after surgery can be uncomfortable. Hope you are as happy with your results as I am.
